Mom, could being thankful really help with your depression—especially with the holidays coming up?💭

Research says yes! Gratitude has been shown to improve mental health, reduce stress, and even ease symptoms of depression. But as a new mom, juggling sleepless nights and holiday chaos, finding time to feel thankful can feel like just another chore.

The truth? Gratitude doesn’t have to be perfect or time-consuming. Even small, simple practices can make a big difference in how you feel.

In my latest blog on Psychology Today, I share 5 practical gratitude tips to help overwhelmed new moms this holiday season. Here’s a sneak peek:

💡 5 Holiday Gratitude Tips for New Moms:
- Start small. Write down one thing you’re thankful for every day—big or small.
- Get your family involved. Share what you’re grateful for at the dinner table or bedtime.
- Celebrate small wins. Made it through the day? That’s worth a thank-you to yourself!
- Find gratitude in the hard moments. Reflect on how challenges are helping you grow.
- Keep it simple. Gratitude doesn’t need to be perfect; it just needs to feel honest.
