For our April , we’d like you to meet Sass!

She was selected for her constant smile and the joy she brings to everyone around her.

One thing she loves about living at The Barclay is the staff, whom she describes as always kind, courteous, and helpful.

If she could give one piece of advice, it would be to be yourself and be friendly.

Fun fact: Sass’s favorite color is blue, her favorite movie is Gone with the Wind, and her favorite song is “Oh! Susanna, Don’t You Cry for Me.” She also fondly remembers her miniature Dachshund, Ollie, from her time living in Pennsylvania. Ollie had a habit of showing his teeth in what looked like a big smile—never a growl, just pure happiness.

Sass has brought so much life to The Barclay, and we are so lucky to have her!

For our April , we would like to recognize Leesa! She has been with The Barclay for approximately 2 and a half years and has become a vital part of our community.

Leesa is one of our Concierge team members here at The Barclay. She is an extremely hard worker and always goes above and beyond for our residents. Leesa was chosen as because she is often the very first friendly face you see when you walk in. She warmly welcomes residents, families, and visitors, helping to set the tone for our community each day.

Her favorite part about working at The Barclay is getting to meet and greet residents and build meaningful connections with them.

Fun Fact: Leesa has a Yorkie and loves the colors purple and orange. In her free time, she enjoys crafts and learning sign language.
