💛 You are the reason we’re here.

At The Center for Creative Healing, everything we do begins with our clients in mind. Your stories, your growth, your healing journey—it’s what drives us forward.

The most powerful way we’ve grown isn’t through ads or campaigns—it’s through you. Clients and community partners who’ve experienced the impact of our work often share it with others, and that word-of-mouth support means everything.

Thank you for trusting us with your healing. 🌿

🦃 The holiday season can be a stressful time! If you’re feeling overwhelmed or anxious this holiday season, it’s important to recognize and validate your emotions - without judgment.

💛 Give yourself permission to experience a range of emotions. Let go of the expectation that you have to enjoy every moment.

And of course, prioritize self-care: establishing and maintaining routines that promote mental well-being, such as exercise, sleep, and mindfulness practices like meditation, can be instrumental in managing stress.

Integrating music and art into your self-care routine can offer unique avenues for expression and emotional release. 🎵🎨

We bought the building! 🏡💛The Center for Creative Healing now owns our Midlothian office, which is our flagship space for expressive, trauma-informed care. This is a big step toward lasting impact in the Richmond area, and we’re so proud to be a woman-owned practice investing in our community.

Take a look at some of the renovated exterior and interior. There are more updates underway to make the space even more therapeutic, accessible, and artful. Stay tuned for more!

As you read in Anna’s article featuring in NAWBO, community is so important to your well being. Whether you’re navigating transitions, building a business or healing from past trauma, support systems are the framework that keep us grounded and growing.

Take time to expand your support system on November 7, 8:30-10 a.m. at our newly updated Midlothian location! We are hosting a NAWBO Richmond Coffee & Connect, a meaningful gathering of female business owners and leaders. ✨ We’re honored to share that our founder and CEO, Anna McChesney, LPC, MT-BC, was recently featured by NAWBO!

Her article, “Building a Support System: The Role of Community, Creativity and Connection,” explores how creativity and human connection form the foundation for resilience and healing—both in life and in business.

At The Center for Creative Healing, we see this truth every day: growth doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens through collaboration, compassion, and creative expression.

Anna is also a proud member of NAWBO Richmond , a vibrant community of women business leaders in Virginia who support and inspire one another to grow.

Read the full article on the NAWBO National website and join us in celebrating this incredible recognition for our community.
