Why I Created Heaven’s Lounge Meditation
HEAVEN'S LOUNGE MEDITATION·SUNDAY, MAY 3, 2020·
​Dear Friends, Last January I got diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma Cancer. Since my diagnosis, I started studying the effects of sounds, frequencies, and vibrations. I've been trying to find ways to heal myself and take away the chemo brain, neuropathy and many of the other side effects. I can tell you this. Binaural Beats and Solfeggio Tones have been working for me.​ ​ When I composed this soundscape last week I was having major headaches and having an extremely hard time sleeping. I found that the more I played with my phone the more intense the headaches became. So, I put on the computer created this mix with the intent to take away the pain and help with my sleeping and it worked. It's 30 minutes long so it can be used to put you into a deep sleep, or take a 30-minute nap and just sit back and CHILL. Remember you must always use your headphones with Binaural Beats. ​ On a side note, due to the coronavirus, I lost my job of 11 years. So I am taking this opportunity to switch gears and truly create music. I've been a DJ for 26 years and traveled all around the world in the '90s and early 2000's I've been creating exercise and club mixes for years and have my own app called Running to The Beat. Here you will find many of my running, cycling and some meditation and healing mixes. More to come very soon. You can also find me on the Itunes podcast under Heaven's Lounge by Dj Peter Canellis. These mixes are classics. And the reviews are stellar.
