The Pathologists’ Assistant Department hosted its annual Evisceration Day on Friday, April 3, offering an unforgettable learning experience for first-year students.

The event was made possible by the dedication and expertise of alumni and preceptors, whose commitment provided students with invaluable hands-on training in autopsy pathology.

Through their guidance and mentorship, these professionals play a vital role in shaping the next generation of Pathologists’ Assistants—helping students build the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to succeed in the field.

Their impact extends across the profession, from academic hospitals to medical examiner offices.

Students enjoyed laser tag, whirly ball, ping pong, and some really crazy and competitive giant Jenga games!
