So sang Bobby McFerrin. It’s good advice.

Will Rogers, on the other hand, said, “I know worrying works, because none of the stuff I worried about ever happened.”

That’s very similar to Mark Twain’s quote: “I've had a lot of worries in my life, most of which never happened.”

Finally, Richard Bandler spoke of the value of worry: “Those who worry get to suffer a lot longer than the rest of us.”

The point is that worry is an exercise in futility. Worry changes nothing and makes life miserable. Worry is a choice. I suggest that you choose something else.

Breathe simply and repeat: “Don’t worry, be happy!” 🙏

It’s not the fittest that survive, but the flexible, those who can adapt, who survive.

Don Beck was fond of saying the only survivors of a nuclear war would be viruses and cockroaches. They seem to be capable of adapting to and withstanding any attempt to eliminate them.

Going back to the way things used to be will never work. Besides, things never were as good as they used to be. We didn’t like it then any better than we like it now.

🧘 Your Pelvis Holds Power. Let’s Rediscover It. 👇

It’s easy to overlook just how central the pelvis is to comfort and function in daily life.

But that “bowl” at the base of your spine isn’t just structural. It’s the foundation of your movement, your balance, and even your emotional sense of support.

When the pelvis is locked up, uncoordinated, or strained, everything else starts to work harder.

🔹 Your hips may tighten
🔹 Your lower back may ache
🔹 Walking and sitting might start to feel awkward or unstable

And most of the time, we don’t realize it’s the way we move that's keeping us stuck in discomfort.

While studying one modality of the healing arts, I was taught that the very first thing one does is to set one’s intention. Achieving desired outcomes requires commitment—setting one’s intention.

That does not guarantee success, but failing to commit almost guarantees disappointment. If there’s something in the future you want, get committed to getting it.

Yesterday does not exist, just as tomorrow does not and may never exist. This is not some mystical or strange concept—it seems clearly to be true.

I can set my alarm clock to go off at a specific time, but there is nothing I can do to absolutely guarantee I’ll be around to turn it off.

Every day and every moment is a gift to be lived now.

Those who pay attention know that there are aspects of life that die in order for a new life to begin.

We transition from child to parent, from student to teacher, even from victim to conqueror.

That’s right, I am free to shake off the influence/power circumstances once held over me. I can die to my past circumstances and arise to new life.

Conventional wisdom that says my past holds me captive is wrong. Once I decide that problems of the past are past and dead, I am completely open to new life.
