Always hear the term “Swedish” massage and wonder what exactly it means? Typically it is associated with just a relaxing massage (which isn’t wrong…) but it’s so much more than that! To all my deep tissue lovers…you don’t have to be in pain for the massage to work. Sometimes your nervous system needs the lighter work so your muscles feel safe to let go.

Massage has so many great benefits! It can be wonderful to treat yourself to massage once in a while but one massage actually won’t give you the relief you’re looking for long term. Allow me to reintroduce myself! Whether you’re a long time client or we’ve never met…I’m happy you’re here! I have been massaging for 8 years and opened Susan Grenier, LMT in 2019. I’m not going to lie, I have a love/hate relationship with social media. Massage can be such a mindful practice while technology is causing such a disconnection around the world. So it’s always been hard for me to fully get behind it. But apparently it’s helpful for marketing or something like that?😱🤷‍♀️
