February is National Cancer Prevention Month! While no one can prevent cancer entirely, we can take powerful steps to stay ahead of it. Early detection and prevention are key to better outcomes!
Here are some essential tips from our team:
✅Stay Up to Date on Screenings: Regular exams and screenings, such as Pap tests and HPV tests for cervical cancer, are crucial for catching changes early when they are most treatable.
✅Get Vaccinated: The HPV vaccine can prevent more than 90% of HPV cancers, including most cervical cancers. It's a powerful preventative measure for eligible patients.
✅Maintain a Healthy Lifestyle: Simple habits like eating right, staying active (aim for 150 minutes of moderate activity each week), and maintaining a healthy weight can make a significant difference in your overall risk.
✅Listen to Your Body: Pay attention to abnormal symptoms and discuss any concerns with us. Early detection saves lives!

Did you know that ❤️heart disease is the #1 killer of women? It claims more lives than all cancers combined, yet only about half of women recognize it as their greatest health threat.
As an OB-GYN practice, we know that your heart health is a crucial part of your overall well-being, especially since factors like pregnancy can affect your future cardiovascular risk.

Join us in the fight!

🔴Know the Signs: Women's heart attack symptoms can be different from men's and may include shortness of breath, nausea, or jaw/back pain, not just chest pain.
