Just a little fun post today. Dr. Rick and Dr. Mark have been helping children for 40 years now. Helping kids with ear infections, asthma, allergies, colic, bed wetting and posture to name a few. Now it's fun for us because the children we seen years ago, saw the benefit of Wellness Chiropractic on their own lives, and are now bringing us their children. Feels like we are their Chiropractic Grandparents. Love them all!!!

At this time we are in a temporary office right behind the Kentucky Fried chicken in N. Ft. Myers.

Address: 13180 North Cleveland Ave in the Executive Suite/Corporate Quarters building.

When you get here just walk on in and have a seat and we will find you.

Update:

It is now official. After 33 years, we have completed the sale of our clinic at 150 Pondella Rd.

A huge thank you goes out to James Hunter, at at Realty One Group MVP - One Global Advisors, who handled all of our real estate needs throughout the process.

We want to congratulate the new owners, Prestige Behavioral Center. Their mission and vision is to make an impact in our community by providing world class ABA therapy one child at a time.

NO, we are NOT retiring :)

At this time we have secured a location here in N. Ft. Myers in the Executive Suites on N. 41 behind the Kentucky Fried Chicken. We can still be reached on the same phone number, (239) 997-5007.

Construction is under way at our newest clinic where we will be opening soon. We will be located in the AMC Theater plaza at Merchants Crossing. Actually, three doors down to the right of the theater. We will continue to update on the progress as it proceeds.

Had the honor of being at the kickoff for Tony Beougher campaign for Lee County School Board.

It was hosted by Rick Means II and his wife Dakota.

UPDATE!!!

We wanted to take time to let everyone know exactly what is happening here at Means Family Chiropractic.

32 years ago we built this clinic here on Pondella to serve our community.

For us, it was a difficult decision, but we have sold our building.

NO, we are not retiring, but instead beginning a new chapter in our lives.

Right now, our plan is to move our practice to a new location. As of 2026, we will be located in the AMC Theater plaza at Merchants Crossing. Actually, three doors down to the right of the theater.

We have obtained a lease on that property, but we still need to build it out. The contractor is beginning immediately. At this time, we are not exactly sure how long that will take.

As a backup plan, sometime in December, we have secured a location here in N. Ft. Myers in the Executive Suites on N. 41 behind the Kentucky Fried Chicken. We can still be reached on the same phone number.

In the next few weeks, we will update everyone again and include a map and address to our new location.

I wanted to introduce you all to my new friend and patient.

To everyone, this is Logan.

He did tell me today that I am his favorite Chiropractor.

Today he received his first upper cervical specific adjustment.

In addition, I heard that his favorite sport is bowling and that he has won two different times in a Special Olympics Tournament.

Who better than for me to pass a few mementos to.

Here's to knocking all those pins down Logan!!!

The Medical Merry-Go-Round... What a terrible ride 👎👎👎

You may be on it or someone you know may be.

Go to one Medical doctor, he runs tests, gives you a name of your illness, writes a prescription. Doesn't work 🙁

Tries more drugs or even recommends therapy. Doesn't work 🙁

Sends you to his friend the "specialist", more tests, more names, more drugs. Doesn't work 🙁

Sends you to a different doctor.

More tests, more drugs on top of the drugs they've already put you on.

Maybe on to a surgeon?

Another specialist?

More drugs?? Wonder how they create addicts?

This ride never ends well.

Yes, I know it is short notice.

No it is not too late to help children right here in our community!!!

Starting today and up through next Friday we are collecting Back-to-school supplies for children in need.

This year everything will be donated to a "One More Child", a christian foster home organization.

If you don't have time to shop, feel free to drop off a couple dollars at the clinic and we will shop for you.

We thank all of our Means Chiropractic family in advance for the kindness you share for these children.

Friday August 1st they will be distributed to this foster program.
