The NCS Naples and Port Charlotte, Florida offices partnered to both sponsor veterans’ wreaths at Sarasota National Cemetery and join other volunteers in laying wreaths for the Wreaths Across America event.

"It was a beautiful sunny day, the first in years without rain for this annual event," said NCS Port Charlotte Service Manager Gloria Yanni. "It is always a humbling experience that we are proud to be a part of."

NCS Fort Myers and Neptune Society Fort Myers teamed up to sponsor the 22nd Annual Social Workers and Case Managers Appreciation Luncheon of Lee County. This year’s theme was Celebrate Life and tell your story; more than 150 folks attended. NCS Service Manager Annie O’Mara and Service Support Specialist Christen Bunch, along with Neptune Fort Myers Service Manager Peter Piscitelli, were among the many local service providers truly honored to sponsor this fantastic event.

The team gave out swag including water bottles, chip clips, sunglasses, temporary tattoos, beads, and retired flag star keepsakes before everyone watched the fireworks. A month of good deeds in the community: In January, the NCS Fort Myers team, clockwise from top left, celebrated by bringing puzzles galore to American House Fort Myers for the activities director to provide residents; our FedEx driver came in upset after his cooler fell out of his truck, so we got him a new cooler and filled it with Gatorade, water, ice, and snacks; we celebrated by delivering a popcorn basket to Ambassador Healthcare At College Park in late afternoon to make sure the night shift got some; and visited Fort Myers Police Department and Cape Coral Police Department to deliver bags of snacks, water bottles, stress balls, pand other goodies, each bag decorated with a "We Appreciate You" shield.

Our Fort Myers office created a display as part of our month-long support of Operation Gratitude. The NCS Fort Myers team held a grand re-opening party on Monday to celebrate the completed renovation of our office following the damage from Hurricane Ian in September 2022, and with food, drinks, and giveaways, it was really grand! Thanks to all who joined us! We are always here to serve and support our community.

To celebrate 🐱, the NCS Ft. Myers team loaded up treat baskets for the kitties at our local pet rescue, Paws Leecounty – and we didn't forget the staff! The kitties were too busy snacking and playing for comment, but their helper was available for a photo.

Almost time for school! NCS Fort Myers Funeral Director Joshua Shook and Pre-Arrangement Advisor Lacey Shook donated school supplies to Pastor Lucy, who gives nearly 1,800 book bags with supplies to local children in need every year.

Everyone needs the occasional treat! For , the Fort Myers folks brought goodies for the security teams at our local hospitals in recognition of their hard work. They are the main communication between the hospital and the funeral home, and we appreciate how much they help us and families at a difficult time.
