Hoboken Doulas

Hoboken Doulas Birth and Postpartum Doula Support- Private Childbirth classes, and private in-home prenatal yoga sessions. Welcome to Hoboken Doulas.

Serving Hoboken, New York City, Wyckoff, Ridgewood, Franklin Lakes and all of Bergen, Morris, Hudson, Essex and Passaic Counties I am deeply honored by every family who invites me to share in their special moments. As your birth and postpartum doula, I will be a caring, supportive and knowledgeable helper on your journey before, and after birth. I recognize birth as a key life experience that the

mother and father will remember all of their lives. A doula provides emotional support, physical comfort measures, an objective viewpoint, and assistance to the woman in getting the information she needs to make informed decisions. A doula can also help facilitate communication between the laboring woman, her partner, and clinical care providers. I perceive my role as non-medical, rather as one who nurtures the laboring mother with unconditional support. I’m passionate about the welfare of new parents and their babies. I share my training and knowledge with the goal of facilitating the transition to parenthood by “mothering the mother.” I will help you recover from pregnancy and birth and focus your energy on bonding with your new baby and other siblings. I believe families can benefit greatly from the help of a caring, supportive person at their side during the enormous life changes that occur in the childbearing year. I provide this with my doula care.

This amazing mom had her doubts about how labor would go. She waited so patiently and things began quietly without much happening at first. And then, all at once, everything shifted. Her body took the lead: she went from 1 cm to 6 cm, and then to 10 cm.

Suddenly, she was right in it, breathing through each wave, trying to catch up as her body moved faster than anyone expected. I could see that moment where thinking quiets and instinct takes over. When a woman turns inward during labor and surrenders, it’s always breathtaking.

And this was no exception! With each contraction she stayed calm, trusting her body even as it asked so much of her. You could feel the love filling the delivery floor as the beautiful baby was born!

To this incredible mom, you didn’t just get through it, you moved through it with such quiet power. 🙌💪❤️And to this beautiful family, what an amazing beginning!🎉🎈💕

Every birth has its own story, one that a mother carries with her and, in time, passes down.

This mom shared something really special with me. Her own mother kept a pregnancy and birth journal, and during her pregnancy, she would read through it as her own journey unfolded. When labor started, she realized how similar it felt to her mom’s experience, and it’s almost like she wasn’t doing it alone.

When I joined her at the hospital, there was this quiet feeling in the room. You could sense her mother’s presence. Not in a big, dramatic way, just soft and steady. It was there.

This amazing mother was so strong, so grounded, and incredibly positive the whole time. She wore a necklace made from her mother’s ashes, and as she started pushing, she noticed it felt tight around her skin. Instead of discomfort, she took it as a sign that her mom was right there with her, helping her bring her baby into the world.

And on her arm, she has her mom’s handwriting tattooed: “And don’t forget to laugh.” A simple reminder, but it meant everything in that moment.

This birth was more than beautiful. It was a full circle of love, memory, and strength. The kind of story you don’t just witness, but feel.

Congratulations to this lovely family ❤🎉🎈

This amazing mother labored all through the night without any breaks, just steady movement. Swaying, breathing, doing the work. She kept changing positions, listening closely to her body, riding each wave as it rolled in. And can we give a little love to the portable fan she packed? Total game changer.

When your body moves through contractions, especially during those big transitions, you can feel hot, flushed, and your skin can get extra sensitive. That heat? That intensity? It’s your body working hard and doing exactly what it was designed to do.

She stayed positive the entire time. She trusted her body. She didn’t fight the process, but she flowed with it. And it unfolded so beautifully.

Congrats to this strong mother! And yes… very, very grateful for that fan.

My heart melted seeing that big beautiful smile! Her amazing mother truly worked for it. She arrived at the hospital at 1 cm dilated. Instead of feeling discouraged, she got up and moving. She did squats. She walked the halls. For four hours straight. And that steady movement helped her progress to 4 cm.

She labored hard the entire day. Tired, yes but she stayed focused. She understood that early labor sometimes just needs time and movement. She stayed committed, trusted the process, and kept going.
And in the end, she had another unmedicated birth. 🙌👏💪🏻🫶Congrats to this beautiful family!🎉🩷

At first glance, these photos are simply beautiful, but they hold so much more than a single moment. They carry deep memory, love, and generations of strength that this incredible family will hold onto forever.

During labor, this father wore his grandfather’s necklace. His grandfather was an Auschwitz survivor, and he wore this very necklace when he returned to the camp in 2015 for a ceremony marking the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. Throughout a long labor filled with both intensity and tenderness, it felt as though his grandfather was right there, offering love, courage, and steady strength as they patiently waited to meet their baby.

When his grandfather passed away within the same week they learned they were pregnant, everything felt full circle. A love that never left, it simply changed form. This beautiful baby, and the generations to follow, will always carry that powerful legacy.

Congratulations to this amazing family. 🤍💪🏻🎉❤️

This handsome little guy chose New Year’s Eve for his grand entrance. With the world counting down in anticipation of the new year, there he was, reminding us that babies don’t care about due dates… they arrive when they’re ready.

He brought smiles to every face in the labor and delivery room. One look at his parents’ expressions of equal parts awe, relief, and pure love was enough to give everyone a little extra hope and comfort heading into the new year. It felt truly magical to witness his arrival on such a special night.

I’m deeply grateful to his parents for inviting me to walk alongside them once again. For them, the end of 2025 marked the beginning of something extraordinary.🎉🎈💙

After 48 hours of labor, our energy was nearly gone, but this incredible mom never gave up. With persistence and strength, she refused to let setbacks dim her hope of achieving her VBAC.( A vaginal birth after cesarean birth.) She finally held her baby in her arms, the room overflowed with joy. Every smile tells the story. As Dr. Joel said so perfectly, “It was worth the wait!” Congrats to this amazing strong mom and her beautiful family!🙌💪🏻🎉💕
