The Path of an Animal Isn’t Always Easy… It Finds Its Way to Where It Belongs 🐾
Don’t be so quick to judge someone if they can’t keep a pet… there’s always a story.
Years ago in the UK, I adopted a black cat from a rescue. I named him Panther—he moved with this smooth, elegant energy, like a true panther. I’ve always believed black cats bring good luck… my father used to say the same. In fact, when we bought our first house, a black cat crossed our path—and we got the house.
Panther would go out and come back, as cats do. But one day… he stopped coming home.
I later found out my neighbor, who had just lost her own cat, had been feeding him. In her grief, she had unknowingly bonded with Panther.
Eventually, I said, “Just keep him.”
Years later, my sister saw her in a facility after a nervous breakdown. And even then, she kept saying: “I just don’t know where Panther is…”
That’s when I understood…
Panther was never really mine.
He was meant to find her.
Sometimes animals aren’t owned… they are guided.
They go where they are needed most.
So before judging someone for not keeping a pet, remember—Panther was her emotional support, her guide, exactly when she needed him.
You don’t know the full story. 💜
