Coinciding with this month, offers a vital opportunity to highlight the essential role these nurses play in the American healthcare landscape.

Key Aspects of Contributions to Nursing

🌺 Cultural Competence & Care: AANHPI nurses, including those from East Asian, Southeast Asian, Indian, and Pacific Islander backgrounds, bring diverse perspectives that improve patient outcomes and foster culturally responsive care.

🌺 Resilience and Leadership: Many nurses in this community are immigrants or refugees who have rebuilt their lives, offering strength and, according to Sutter Health, specialized care for vulnerable patients.
