Yesterday Desiree Mayo of Southern Harbor Eldercare Services joined fellow non-profits at the Samoset Resort for United Midcoast Charities annual grantee breakfast event. This year we were awarded 12,000 grant for our important work providing care to island elders and their families. Thank you to UMC for your ongoing and generous support. And congratulations to our fellow grantees!

Come enjoy the view from Southern Harbor House! We are busy working on putting together a class in the best couple weeks! We have already had a few people inquire and would love to see even more join.

We have a variety of shifts available and even working just one or two shifts a week can make a difference for us and you! Whether it is helping with the grocery bill, covering a car payment or just bringing in a little extra spending money it’s is a huge help!
