We are thrilled to welcome Catherine Martin, APRN to Complete Pediatrics ! She will be starting this week.

Catherine (Katie) Martin is a pediatric nurse practitioner who received her education at the Yale School of Nursing. Katie is board certified in pediatric primary care through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Katie is a New Haven native and has enjoyed growing up in a small city environment with lots of yummy pizza. She completed her undergraduate degree in Theology at Dickinson College in Carlisle Pennsylvania where she studied the overlap between religion and ethics within healthcare.

Katie’s experience as a registered nurse working in community health and as a former middle school teacher in New Haven, helped to shape her passion for advocating for and serving the underserved. Katie has worked with children for the past 10 years and could not imagine working with any other population. Katie’s interests within medicine include Type 2 Diabetes care in children and asthma.

Katie continues to work with Yale School of Nursing as a Lecturer. In her spare time she enjoys ballet, running, hiking, and kayaking with her family.

Yale Medicine Pediatric specialists will provide orthopedic,neurologic and cardiac screenings, including EKGs

Free cardiac and musculoskeletal health screenings for high school athletes ages 13-19. Screenings will include orthopedic evaluation by sports medicine surgeon and cardiac screening including EKG by Yale Medicine Physicians. This does NOT replace the annual primary care physical/well-child exam.
