#UpliftAndRecover is my own personal campaign and movement in finding the beauty in different perspectives, practicing kindness, and facing challenges head on. Brokenness, pain, struggle, insecurities, guilt, shame - the feelings that we experience as unpleasant are parts of the human experience. What we do with those experiences paints the world around us. I believe that we can learn to develop insight and we have the power to choose how great the impact of these experiences will be in our lives. Finding the strength to uplift/uproot the negative things that we have allowed to hold us back is scary and empowering all at the same time. My commitment is to be of service when people are struggling, encourage those around me and to practice selflessness - all while making a living - to reflect the joy of purpose over the title of a position. I have taken the pledge to #UpliftAndRecover and to encourage others to do the same.
