🌿I sent this email out a week ago today, but have been putting off posting anything on our social media, as the more I talk about it the more real and the more sad it feels…
But for those of you who are not on our email list, here is an abridged version :
✨Studio GROUNDED family,
As some of you may have suspected, the studio is struggling to keep its doors open. I have tried my best to keep it afloat for as long as possible, however, in the recent months, it has become increasingly apparent that we cannot continue.
So, with that, I am reaching out with a very heavy heart to share with all of you that studio GROUNDED will be closing it's doors Sunday, April 24th.
It is so hard to write this letter to all of you. Some of you have been practicing yoga with since I finished my yoga teacher training fives years ago. Your support has meant the world to me.
We opened studio GROUNDED April 6, 2019 with the intent of creating a diverse community of people who could come together, learn from one another, and find space and comfort in a small studio space that would allow for all of us to grow within our practices both physically and mentally. And I think that I can say that without a doubt, over the past three years, we have achieved that goal.
When we opened our doors I had no experience running a business, just a passion for yoga and exercise. It is because of the support of all of you that we have been able to stay open this long, considering the circumstances going on in the world. I truly feel that GROUNDED did not get the chance that it deserved. We, like so many other small businesses, just could not climb out from the giant void that is COVID.
I have discussed this decision with my team of teachers and we are all committed to continuing to provide you with the very best of yoga and barre until the end.
Thank you to each of you for everything. I cannot begin to express the gratitude that I feel for this community and the hole that will be in my heart when we close our doors. I love you all and hope that we can continue to connect with one another after all is said and done.
With love,
Bailey
