Our team recently participated in a Code Blue Inservice, reinforcing critical response skills and protocols to ensure we’re always ready when it matters most. Training like this keeps our staff confident, capable, and committed to the highest standard of care.

We walk for our residents.
We walk for our friends and families.
We walk for hope, for awareness — and for a cure.

This year, every one of our Connecticut Centers proudly joined the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, with team members representing at seven events across the state. Each step, smile, and show of support brought us closer to a world without Alzheimer’s.

Together, our Centers have raised an incredible $26,000 (and counting) — a true testament to the compassion, unity, and dedication that define our National Health Care Associates family.

Thank you to everyone who walked, donated, and stood beside us in support of this important cause. Together, we are making a difference — one step at a time.

Every 40 seconds, someone in the U.S. experiences a stroke—and it can happen anywhere. That’s why recognizing the warning signs and acting quickly is so important.

Remember B.E. F.A.S.T.—the signs of a stroke:
-Balance Unsteady
-Eyesight Changes
-Face Drooping
-Arm Weakness
-Speech Difficulty
-Time to call 911

The sooner a stroke is treated, the better the chances for recovery. Patients who receive clot-busting medication or stent procedures within the first critical minutes are three times more likely to recover with little or no disability.

Stroke is largely treatable—but only if we act fast. Learn the signs, share the knowledge, and be prepared.
