Our residents are getting into the St. Patrick’s Day spirit by decorating with festive greens, shamrocks, and touches of gold. From hanging decorations to painting with their own creative flair, it has been a joyful way to celebrate together.

We love seeing the pride and smiles that come with making our community feel extra special for the holiday.

This month, we proudly recognize and celebrate the incredible social workers who play such a vital role at National’s facilities every day. Social workers are at the heart of resident-centered care — providing emotional support, advocating for resident needs, guiding care planning, and helping residents and families navigate important transitions.

Their work brings comfort during times of adjustment, clarity during complex decisions, and reassurance when it’s needed most. Through compassion, empathy, and dedication, they help foster trust, connection, and overall well-being for those we serve.

We are truly grateful for the difference our social workers make in the lives of our residents and their loved ones.

This recognition is awarded each month to a team member whose dedication and daily actions make a meaningful and lasting impact within our community. We are proud to celebrate Camille Tomlinson as Montowese Center for Health & Rehabilitation’s Core Value Leader of the Month.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, Camille consistently exemplifies our core values of kindness, compassion, service, and excellence. She approaches each day with professionalism, empathy, and a genuine commitment to those in our care—always ready to lend a hand, answer a call light, or step in when a teammate needs support.

Her reliability and positive spirit help create an environment where residents feel respected, comfortable, and truly at home. It is the small, steady acts of care that make the biggest difference, and Camille brings that heart to work every single day.

Congratulations, Camille, and thank you for the warmth and dedication you share with our community.

Kindness is at the heart of everything we do. Sheila Johnson, Director of Nursing at Bethel Health Care Center, shares how small, thoughtful moments—like remembering a resident’s favorite blanket or how they take their coffee—make a big difference.

By bringing smiles to those around them, our team embodies kindness every day, helping our centers truly feel like home.

Winter can affect more than just the weather. Shorter days and reduced sunlight can impact mood and energy, particularly for individuals experiencing Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).

At our centers, we take a comprehensive approach to resident well-being. By fostering social connection, promoting physical activity, providing balanced nutrition, and creating bright, supportive environments, we help residents maintain wellness for both mind and body.

Pet therapy with Xena at Montowese brought plenty of smiles today. 🐾

A few gentle pats and quiet moments with our favorite four-legged visitor made the day feel extra special. It’s amazing how much joy one sweet pup can bring.
