The best way to stay healthy is to be physically active and socially involved. We provide exercise and health classes designed to help maintain an independent lifestyle as one ages. We also give you the chance to give back by sharing your time, skills, and experiences. Not only will the recipients of your time benefit, but volunteers report better health and a better outlook on life. AOASCC provides community services. We advocate for aging and disability issues. We develop a plan on a regular basis to address how to meet the needs of older adults in south central Connecticut. Based on this plan, we partner with other non-profits to ensure our community has an array of services to support individuals' choices. A full range of services are funded including health and wellness programs, social support, and services that sustain independent living.
