Have you ever been in a vitamin isle so overwhelmed by which to choose? We have 🙋🏻‍♀️

As crazy as it sounds, supplements can contain heavy metals and toxic forms of vitamins that shouldn’t be in there ☠️💊.

The first and best advice almost all healthcare providers recommend is that you don’t want to buy your supplements at the same place you buy your toilet paper 🧻 and toothpaste.

With that said there are a few indicators that you should always look out for:

1.) It should be Good Manufacturing Practice Certified (GMP), meaning that the supplement was manufactured using a standard system of policies to ensure that the product is consistently produced and controlled.
2.) Third Party Testing- a separate organization not affiliated with the manufacturing company evaluates the supplement for heavy metals and toxicity. They also ensure that correct ingredients are used and at the right dose.
3.) Ask yourself if the formula is based on a clinically studied dosage? Is it at the dose that science tells us will produce the effect that we want?
4.) Is it fresh? How often is the product made?
5.) Is it gluten free, dairy free, Non-GMO, cruelty free etc!?
