It looks like just a silly game, but this is high-powered massed practice in action! 🐒

Every single one of these plastic monkeys represents an accurate production of a target speech sound! We stack them up so our client can get 40, 50, or even 100+ perfect repetitions in a session.

Why so many? Because the goal isn't just to say the sound right once, it's to achieve automaticity—where the sound comes out correctly without even having to think about it!

We're incredibly excited to shine a spotlight on the visionary behind Acorn Therapy Solutions: Kristen Taylor, MA, CCC-SLP!

Kristen isn't just an amazing Speech-Language Pathologist; she's the proud owner and founder who started Acorn Therapy Solutions in 2019 with a powerful mission: building a foundation one family at a time.

From a single client, her passion has grown into a thriving clinic in North Kingstown. Today, we support about 45 families every week and have provided services to over 150 families in our history! This amazing growth is a testament to Kristen's dedication.
