Active and engaging expressive arts therapy intervention for clients with ADHD, impulsivity, anger, anxiety, etc. My client and I decided to take our session outside today and get a little artsy. We dabbed reusable water balls in washable paint and threw them at a blank canvas. The result? A unique piece of artwork, lots of laughs, an easy-to-clean mess, and a calm and regulated child client.

My “Young Adults Connect” dance/movement therapy group is for people ages 18-28 who are looking for a safe and creative space to connect with others in their age group. This group explores age-appropriate life transitions, the development and strengthening of coping skills, and peer relationship building through a variety of movement interventions as well as verbal processing. My dance/movement therapy group for elementary schoolers will be returning on January 15th, 2022 at 2pm! This group focuses on anxiety related to school, changes due to covid, and generalized anxiety. This is an in-person group that meets weekly for 5 weeks at the Emboldened Movement Studio at Embodied Living Counseling, LLC. Sessions are $30 each, with some insurances accepted.
