As daylight decreases, many people experience shifts in mood and energy. For some, this is Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) — a type of depression linked to reduced sunlight during fall and winter.

Common signs include: low mood, increased fatigue, oversleeping, trouble concentrating, and changes in appetite.

SAD is more common than many realize, and effective treatments—like light therapy, counseling, and lifestyle adjustments—can make a real difference. If these symptoms feel familiar, consider reaching out to a healthcare provider for support.
