Today College Park participated in the Great Shakeout Earthquake Drill in Nevada. At 10:18 we simulated a true earthquake with the state. We had no lights, loud roaring sounds of a building falling apart, we simulated blocks of cement we prepared earlier this week to look like the building had damage. We learned a lot but had fun doing it together.

What is so interesting is some residents who actually played in a band or have played drums in their lifetime , this brings that out. One thing that is more valuable in today’s Nursing home is being able to cater to everyone’s needs. Due to the fact that we support our community and hospitals for years now taking isolation or infectious residents, we don’t want anyone to be alone or ignored in an iso situation . Here is a picture of just one of 48 residents that are getting one to one fun therapy. This volunteer who works with us is part of the Behavior Health Solutions team. Thank you from the staff and residents College Park Rehab. This was a tight Yahtzee game between the two of them. There is never enough time so reach out to vendors for support Behavioral Health Solutions is one in a million thank you Bill Treese for caring about all aspects of our care .
