Our winter StoryWalk book, Speak Your Heart: A Coco and Bear Story by Apryl Scott, is up at Creekside Park and better than ever!

This season we've partnered with Enrichment Therapy & Learning Center, P.C.- North Liberty to bring you early literacy resources AND a new challenge!

Scan the QR codes at the beginning of the StoryWalk to download your Winter Reading Passport! Full of challenges to promote early literacy, learning, and of course, winter fun, this passport will spark activity in the slow winter months.

Winter Reading Passports will also be available at the library to snag on your way to the StoryWalk. Fill your entire passport before the end of the February and earn a prize!

By 3 years old, a child should be approximately 75% intelligible by both familiar and unfamiliar listeners. They may still make some errors in later developing speech sounds, like /r/, /l/, and 'ch', but are mostly understood. If your 3-year-old's speech is still unclear, we're here to help!
