Gentle reminder: Grief doesn’t leave, it simply changes shape and form throughout our lives. Grief doesn’t evolve; you do, which means things feel better because you’re carrying it better.

Eventually, you learn to hold the loss differently, but that doesn’t mean you don’t miss them. Longing is a part of grief, and it also demonstrates that love is still present.

Each day, we get a choice: to sit in grief and dwell or drown in it, or to sit with grief—to acknowledge it and choose how we want to engage.

Gentle reminder: Humility is the lesson you learn when ego costs you connections. A lot of times we miss our blessings by allowing our ego to become louder than our humility which is essentially trading humanity and empathy for reframing failure through motivational captions.
