• Try a sensory-friendly egg hunt (bigger eggs, fewer distractions, visual clues)
• Stick to familiar routines to help your child feel at ease
• Prep with simple language or a quick “practice run” of activities
• Be mindful of textures, sounds and busy environments
• Celebrate in a way that works for your child—there’s no one “right” way to do Easter
Because the best memories are made when every child feels included, supported and free to have fun.

Our Therapy Director, Ashley Villarreal Fleeman MS, CCC-SLP, alongside speech therapists Daisy Velasquez MS, CCC-SLP and Jasmin Martinez MS, CCC presented at the Arkansas Speech-Language-Hearing Association State Conference on a topic they are deeply passionate about—Cultural Humility in our field.

This was their first time presenting at a conference, but when you care deeply about the work you do and the communities you serve, you show up and do the work. Proud to see their voices advocating for more culturally responsive care in speech-language pathology. 🌎✨
