Amigos was honored to speak to a JAG (Jobs for Arkansas Graduates) class during the University of Little Rock TRIO Talent Search workshops at Little Rock Southwest High School. The conversation focused on our mission to help grow the fields of speech, occupational, and physical therapy by encouraging more diverse voices and perspectives. We shared why representation matters, how it strengthens the care communities receive, and the many opportunities these careers offer. We also talked openly about what it looks like to build and lead a small business with purpose. It was a meaningful chance to inspire future professionals and highlight the impact they can make in the world of therapy.

El juego sensorial es mucho más que diversión: ayuda a los niños a explorar el mundo a través del tacto, el sonido, el movimiento y la vista. En la terapia ocupacional, estas actividades fortalecen la motricidad fina, mejoran la concentración y apoyan la regulación emocional.

This season, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude. 💛
We’re thankful for the opportunity to celebrate and serve the amazing communities around our North Little Rock and Plaza Frida clinics. Thankful for the new families who’ve joined the Amigos family, the incredible therapists and team members who make each day brighter, and for every child who reminds us why we love what we do.

We get it — life happens! Between school pickups, snack time, and surprise meltdowns, sometimes appointments slip through the cracks. 💛
But when there’s a no-call, no-show, it means another kiddo misses out on therapy time that could have helped them take a big step forward — and our therapists miss the chance to do what they love most: helping little amigos grow!

If you can’t make it, no worries — just give us a quick call or text. That way, we can offer the spot to another child who’s eager to play, learn, and grow. 🤸‍♂️
Because teamwork makes all our amigos stronger!

¡Sabemos que la vida pasa rápido! Entre la escuela, los snacks y las sorpresas del día, a veces se nos escapan las citas. 💛
Pero cuando hay una cita sin aviso, otro pequeño pierde la oportunidad de recibir su terapia — y nuestros terapeutas pierden la oportunidad de hacer lo que más aman: ¡ayudar a crecer a nuestros amigos!

Si no pueden asistir, no pasa nada — solo llámenos o mándenos un mensajito. Así podemos ofrecer ese espacio a otro niño listo para jugar, aprender y crecer. 🤸‍♂️
