People often talk about cutting off friends and family and setting boundaries, but what they rarely discuss is the deep pain that comes with it—the kind of pain that feels like grief. You go through the cycle of emotions: shock, denial, anger, sadness, and eventually acceptance. It’s not easy, and it’s not without its scars.

But just like a broken bone heals, so will you. It may not heal the same as before the break, but over time, you’ll regain the strength to walk again, even stronger than before.

Be thankful for what was—the lessons, the love, the memories—and stay hopeful for what’s to come. Every ending makes room for new beginnings. Hold on to that hope and keep moving forward.
