Today is a new day, and with it comes more progress. With the addition of our AMPA crews from Conway and Bentonville, we hope to expedite the restoration progress around the service territory today. Yesterday, we made major strides in restoring power to as many customers as possible. Unfortunately, we couldn't get everyone back on due to the amount of damage caused by the intense winds from the storm. Much of yesterday was spent evaluating the damage so that we could get a game plan together. We have not forgotten you. We hear you. We will continue to push forward until ALL customers are restored.

Our crews are doing what they can to get as many customers as possible back up. This process can take some time. We truly do understand the frustration that is out there. We are doing what we can. There were setbacks last night due to unforeseen damage. We will get that repaired as quickly and safely as we can. North Little Rock Electric is very appreciative of the support and patience of our customers. Things will get better. We are pushing on. Thank you again for sticking with us.

The North Little Rock Fit2Live Program, in partnership with ARORA and the City of Little Rock, is delighted to announce the forthcoming "Unity Walk" 2K Run/Walk event, slated to transpire at Dickey Stephens Plaza on Saturday, October 12, 2024, commencing at 9 a.m.
The race will kick off at 9 a.m. at the intersection of Broadway in North Little Rock (Dickey Stephens), with participants entering the park and following a designated route marked by clear signage along the Trail.
"We are excited to welcome participants to our inaugural event, envisioning it as a tradition to uphold annually. We appreciate the chance to bring together individuals affected by breast cancer, whether in treatment, celebrating survivorship, or supporting loved ones. We encourage all community members to join us in October, contribute to our mission to raise awareness and combat breast cancer, and consider becoming a sponsor for this noble cause."
The event is inclusive to all community members. Post-race, attendees are encouraged to enjoy a complimentary brunch, partake in activities at the kids' corner featuring a rock climbing wall and face painting, relish musical entertainment, and tune in to special guest hosting live from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m

Employees from the City of North Little Rock exhibited wholehearted support by actively participating in this year's MS Walk on April 20, 2024, demonstrating solidarity with individuals affected by MS. Each dedicated city employee earned a wellness point as part of the "Fit 2 Live" initiative, promoting well-being within the North Little Rock community. Moreover, these employees enthusiastically joined the Central Arkansas Heart Walk on April 27, 2024, emphasizing the importance of heart health awareness.
In its inaugural year, the Fit 2 Live program successfully conducted the Biggest Loser Challenge for city employees. Commencing on January 17, 2024, and concluding on April 10, 2024, the challenge attracted 18 participants. The winners included Bobbie Burks in first place, Shay Reagan in second place, and Captain Jon Miller in third place.
