He attended North Little Rock public schools graduating from North Little Rock Northeast High School in 1986. Following his graduation from Hendrix College in 1990, Dr. John attended the University Of Tennessee College Of Dentistry and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree in 1994. In September of 1994, Dr. John opened his dental practice in the heart of North Little Rock where he continues to practice today. Dr. John is married to his beautiful wife, Bliss Jennings Dean, and they two have two wonderful children, Anna Bliss and Andrew. Anna Bliss recently began her college career at Belmont University, so trips to Nashville, Tennessee has become a family favorite. Andrew, who will soon be starting high school, is an avid tennis player. He and Dr. John challenge each other on the court weekly. As a family, they love to travel and go on great outdoor adventures. Dr. John enjoys rafting, hiking, going to the lake, antique cars, and spending time with friends and family. He is very involved in their church, Lakewood United Methodist. Dr. John's emphasis is in keeping your teeth healthy and beautiful for life. In addition to all general dentistry needs, Dr. John performs root canals, removes wisdom teeth, treats sleep apnea, and is able to place ceramic and zirconia crowns in one appointment. We recognize how important your time is, and as a practice, we pride ourselves in same day dentistry. Dr. John has received extensive training in the surgical placement of implants to replace missing teeth - something he has been doing for 17 years. In our office, he uses technology for computerized placement of implants ensuring a precise restoration each time he performs this procedure. Dr. John also offers sedation dentistry using IV or oral medication to provide comfort for his high-anxiety patients. Dr. Drake is a native of Little Rock and is very grateful to be practicing at home here in Arkansas. Dr. Drake is a graduate from Catholic High School and attended dental school at The University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. Prior to dental school, he played basketball at Christian Brothers University and taught for 3 years at Catholic High. Dr. Drake provides comprehensive dentistry and quality care for the whole family. His goal for all of his patients is that they are proud of their smile and keep their teeth for a lifetime.
