Little Rock showed up in a big way at the Parker Gill Foundation Annual Golf Tournament

We are proud to stand alongside the Parker Gill Foundation as they continue to bring awareness, hope, and healing to families impacted by substance use and loss. Events like this are more than just a day on the course. They are about connection, remembrance, and building a stronger recovery community together.

Little Rock Recovery was honored to be part of such a meaningful event, surrounded by individuals and organizations who are committed to saving lives and supporting long-term recovery. Every conversation, every swing, and every moment shared is a reminder that recovery is possible and that none of us have to do this alone.

Thank you to the Parker Gill Foundation for creating spaces where healing and purpose meet. We are grateful to be part of the mission.

Today we had the honor of welcoming our friend Justin M. to Little Rock Recovery, where he shared his experience, strength, and hope with our clients.

What makes today even more meaningful is that Justin chose to spend part of his birthday giving back to others in recovery. That kind of selflessness is a true reflection of what recovery is all about.

To keep it you have to give it away. And Justin showed us exactly what that looks like.

We are truly grateful for your time, your message, and your willingness to serve others. Happy Birthday Justin and thank you for helping carry the message of recovery.

Today was an incredible day at Little Rock Recovery. You could feel the hope, the connection, and the willingness to grow in every room.

A huge shoutout to Marybeth Hill with ARCHway Institute for coming in and sharing her story and heart with our clients. Her message was real, powerful, and exactly what people needed to hear. She continues to show what recovery looks like in action and reminds us all that healing is possible.

We’re grateful for partnerships like this and days like today that remind us why this work matters so much. Recovery is happening, and it’s happening right here.

We want to give a heartfelt thank you to “Coach" Robert Upshaw with Nlc Greater Little Rock for coming out to Little Rock Recovery and sharing such a powerful, faith centered message with our clients.

Known across Central Arkansas as Coach Robert Upshaw, a former football player and coach, your presence brought both leadership and inspiration to the room. Your willingness to show up and speak about hope, purpose, and the role of faith in recovery made a meaningful impact.

For many of the individuals we serve, reconnecting with faith is a key part of healing and finding a new way to live. Thank you for reminding our clients that no matter where they have been, there is grace, there is purpose, and there is a path forward.

We are grateful for your continued support and for being part of the work we do every day.

We are proud to share that our Clinical Director, Michael Godfrey, represented Little Rock Recovery at the Arkansas Specialty Court Conference yesterday.

Michael had the opportunity to speak on Co-Occurring Disorders, highlighting the importance of addressing both mental health and substance use together to support long-term recovery. His passion, knowledge, and lived experience continue to make a meaningful impact not only within our program, but across the recovery community in Arkansas.

At Little Rock Recovery, we are committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care and to being active leaders in advancing recovery support throughout our state.

Thank you, Michael, for representing our mission so well.

We want to give a huge thank you to Monte Payne for coming out to Little Rock Recovery and sharing his Experience, Strength and Hope with our clients.

There is something powerful that happens when someone with lived experience stands in front of a room and tells the truth about where they have been and what recovery looks like today. Monte’s story was not just heard, it was felt. Our clients were able to see themselves in his journey, and that kind of connection brings hope to life in a way nothing else can.

At Little Rock Recovery, we believe that lived experience is one of the most impactful tools in recovery. When clients hear firsthand that change is possible, that freedom is real, and that a new life can be built, it strengthens their belief in their own recovery.

We are also incredibly grateful for our continued partnership with Wolfe Street Foundation. Their commitment to the recovery community and willingness to pour into others makes a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve.

Gratitude post today from Little Rock Recovery ❤️

We want to take a moment to recognize someone who is truly walking the walk. Drew Barrow is out here using his gift to give back, offering free haircuts to clients in recovery and showing up with consistency, humility, and heart.

Drew, what you’re doing matters more than you probably even realize. A haircut is more than just a haircut. It’s dignity. It’s confidence. It’s connection. It’s a reminder that people care.

Thank you for being a light in this community and for serving others the way you do every single day at Jerry’s Barbershop in the Heights. You are making a real impact, one person at a time.

This is what recovery in action looks like.

Happy Friday from Little Rock Recovery Outpatient 💙

Another day showing up.
Another day choosing healing.
Another day proving that change is possible.

There’s something powerful about a Friday in recovery… it’s not just the end of the week, it’s a reminder that you made it through—present, aware, and still standing.

Keep going. Keep growing. Keep choosing you.

Art is therapy too. 🎨

At Little Rock Recovery, healing doesn’t only happen in meetings or counseling sessions. Sometimes it happens with a paintbrush, a pencil, a piece of clay, or colors on a canvas.

Art gives people in recovery a way to express the things that are hard to say out loud. It allows emotions to move instead of staying stuck inside. It creates space for reflection, creativity, and connection.

Recovery is about rebuilding a life, and creativity is a powerful part of that process. Every stroke, every color, every piece created is a reminder that healing can look different for everyone.

At Little Rock Recovery we believe in supporting the whole person. Mind, body, and spirit. And sometimes the path to healing starts with simply creating something beautiful. ✨

It’s Thursday at Little Rock Recovery.

Outpatient days are about showing up. Showing up for yourself, for your healing, and for the life you are working to build. Recovery doesn’t happen overnight. It happens in moments like these… sitting in group, sharing honestly, listening, learning, and growing together.

Every Thursday we are reminded that recovery is possible and no one has to do it alone. One day at a time. One step at a time. 💙
