Welcoming our newest provider, Ashley Easter!! Board-certified psychiatric mental helath nurse practitioner (PMHNP)! Ashley interned with Journey throughout her education & we are privileged to have her join our practice! As we onboard her, she is taking cash-pay clients via telehealth & in-person at North Little Rock. She will soon be credentialed with BCBS, Ambetter, Tricare, Aetna, & Cigna. With a holistic and patient-centered approach, Ashley is dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve lasting emotional well-being and resilience! She has over 13 years of experience in the mental health field. She provides compassionate, comprehensive care to individuals across the lifespan, with a particular emphasis on pediatric and adolescent populations. Her clinical specialties include ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, eating disorders, and personality disorders.

Ashley offers thorough psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, supportive therapy, and medication management, all tailored to meet each patient's unique needs. She is committed to creating a therapeutic environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their mental health journey.

In addition to her role as a PMHNP, Ashley is a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE), with specialized training in trauma-informed care for individuals who have experienced trauma or assault. This dual expertise enables her to provide sensitive, evidence-based treatment for those coping with the psychological impact of trauma.

This Memorial Day, we honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

As we reflect with gratitude, let’s also remember the importance of supporting the mental health of our veterans, active-duty service members, and those in recovery.

For many, this holiday brings connection and celebration. But for others, especially those battling substance use, social anxiety, PTSD, or feelings of isolation, it can be a tough time.

Let’s honor our heroes not just in remembrance—but by creating a world where everyone feels supported and seen.

At Journey Wellness Clinic, we recognize the importance of prioritizing the mental health of children and adolescents in Arkansas. Our team of clinicians is knowledgeable in providing mental health care services to youth, and we are proud to have two dual-board certified pediatric and psych/mental health practitioners, Deena Garner and Lindsay Van Parys. We invite caregivers to contact us if they have children ages 4-17 years old (and as young as 2 years old if the concern is autism spectrum disorder) who appear to be struggling with behavioral and/or emotional challenges.
