If this question hits hard then we need to talk! Trauma can hide and disguise itself in depression, anxiety and high performance expectations. Honestly asking this question can reveal some of the deepest needs you have right now. It might be the catalyst for change in big and small things. Be brave and really ask…what do I need to feel safe right now? Working with a qualified therapist can make the difference between wishing your life was different and actually making the changes necessary for that life to happen. Life coaching doesn’t necessarily go deep enough to heal trauma. Without addressing your whole situation and life experiences, change may only be temporary like fad dieting or emotional shopping… it feels good for a moment but it doesn’t last and you may become dependent upon your coach. Ai is also only temporary source of self validation and bias that will not challenge your point of view. Therapy is an investment that takes time and effort.
