What a wonderful Christmas season we’ve had at Maple! 🎄The generosity of family, friends and performers of all kinds has been amazing. We’ve had parties, wonderful food, fun music, and a feeling of peace and joy this month. Fans of “I Love Lucy” will likely recognize the Chocolate Factory episode when Lucy and Ethel go to work for a day, making and wrapping chocolates, while Ricky and Fred stay home to be homemakers. From Lucy’s chocolate fight to Fred’s “7 Layer Cake,” all of us in our theater laughed and enjoyed some chocolate of our own! This classic episode was part of our celebration of I Love Lucy Day! We recently did a photo shoot with some of our residents to highlight Maple Springs. It was an absolute delight working with our beautiful and handsome residents. The lives they’ve lived, the families they’ve raised, and the stories they tell are amazing.

There are so many things we can learn from our elders. Take some time to talk to a grandparent, a neighbor, or an older friend. Their wisdom and strength are so inspiring and can bless your life in ways you don’t even realize. We’re so grateful to work with and learn from our residents. ❤️

Maple Springs was proud to participate in the Cache Valley Walk to End Alzheimer’s last weekend. We were able to meet a lot of other people with passion for the cause. A large number of athletes from USU helped with setup and participated in the walk. We so appreciated their help! It was a great event and we’re grateful to have been part of it!

Do you have a loved one with Alzheimer’s or dementia that is starting to need more help? At Maple Springs of North Logan, we have a beautiful memory care facility, The Lighthouse, to assist residents who have memory deficits. Our CNAs are on-site 24/7 and are able to help with activities of daily living, including medication management, showering, dressing, using the bathroom, and more. The Lighthouse has 15 apartments, allowing us to maintain an intimate setting and a high staff to resident ratio.

Our dedicated staff work diligently to maintain our residents’ dignity and to ensure our residents are well cared for. Our residents’ families are generally very involved and are welcome to spend as much time with their resident as they would like. Our activity staff work hard to personalize activities and to meet residents on their level, as no two residents are the same.

We currently have availability in our memory care and are looking for new residents who can benefit from additional structure and support. If you have a loved one or know of someone who does, feel free to reach out for additional information or come in for a tour! Information is below. ⬇️

Our therapy department treats rehab patients through physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Our gym is a bright, beautiful space dedicated to helping people get back on their feet and return home.
