We traveled around Germany today and enjoyed a little streusel and pretzels along the way! And yes, I did get scolded for not bringing along any beer. 🤷🏼‍♀️

We had the perfect weather yesterday for a little adventure. We took the scenic route to the Thunder Bar and Grill for some delicious food! The burgers and chocolate lasagna were particularly a big hit. The way home also brought us on a scenic route for a stop at Arnie Lillos Creations to walk off some of our lunch and check out some of his amazing talents. We love when people share their talents with the world.

Nellie, a 15 year old from Mountain Lake, came and performed for us. She is in band, as well as in the Mankato Youth Sympany Orchestra and recently returned from Australia where she performed with other students that competed to be in the group. She has also played at Carnegie Hall.

We learned we have numerous residents who have piano, organ, flute and clarinet.

It’s a great day to happy…. And to have family visit! Mothers and dtrs, we had father and son (declined a picture), and wife and husband (oops- missed him. If you come and visit, and want a picture… let us know!!!!

We had an amazing visit yesterday from Nicollet County 4-H! The kids put on a live performance, showed us many of their talented projects, played games and brought ice cream and drinks! The weather was beautiful and the company was amazing. Cannot thank the 4-H office, kids, and their parents enough for making this day happen. 💗

We enjoyed music from Gary's Polka Polka Band today! There was a lot of clapping, toe tapping, and even several sing alongs!

We had a friendly "Swap and Shop" the other day for residents to clear some items out they no longer want and acquire some new items they may have needed. All left overs were donated to an area thrift store.

Our beginning of summer 'Let the Summer Shine' party was also a great time with games and treats!
