A quiet 100 unit senior housing complex, featuring one bedroom, one bedroom plus a den, and two bedroom apartments, with or without the luxury of a patio that range in size from 510-980 square-feet. Vista Prairie at North Pointe apartments were designed to keep our residents as independent as possible, for as long as possible. Each home features a full kitchen, private bath with low-step showers, spacious closets and the peace of mind of our exclusive emergency response system. Vista Prairie at North Pointe also features 20 Care Suites that offer a higher level of assisted living with 24-hour continuous care and are appropriate for individuals who are recovering from surgery or illness, require concentrated rehabilitation, hospice or need ongoing health-related care. Vista Prairie at North Point also offers Independant Living as an age in place living option in their community. This is an opportunity for Indvidual's that do not currently need support with daily life activities and personal care services, yet want to enjoy maintenance free living, have a peace of mind, security and socialization, living in community with other seniors on a parallel journey in life. Vista Prairie at North Pointe also provides Respite Care for short term stays. We also have the following amenities included in our rent:
* Three meals each day
* Housekeeping weekly
* Laundry weekly
* All utilities (except telephone)
* 24 hour resident assistant staffing
* Community bus for transportation
* Emergency pendant system
* Management on site
* RNs on site for daily consultation
* On site mail delivery and pick up
* Maintenance provided
* Daily well-being checks

Doug is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College and moved to North Mankato in 2000, where he raised 2 children. Doug enjoys golfing as well as playing and writing music.

We’re excited to welcome Josh Wirig to our community as our new Culinary Manager. With nearly two decades of experience in kitchens and restaurants, Josh brings a deep passion for food, leadership, and creativity to the team.

Josh has spent 19 years honing his craft, working across a wide range of culinary environments and developing a reputation for excellence and innovation. His talent was recognized in a big way in 2023, when he earned the title of Cirque Du Crave Culinary Competition Champion — a testament to his skill, dedication, and artistry in the kitchen.

Outside of work, Josh enjoys a full and active life. He’s a proud dog dad to two pups, and when he’s not creating memorable dishes, you’ll likely find him out on a trail or at the range — he’s an avid hiker and passionate archery enthusiast.

Please join us in giving a big welcome to Kyla, who has joined our North Pointe team as a RN.

Kyla has been working in health care for over 18 years. She particularly enjoys working with the elderly population. Kyla enjoys listening to their story's and learning about history through their eyes.

Kyla recently became a new Bride! Together they have 1 cat and 2 dogs which keep them very busy. In her spare time, she enjoys movies, hiking, listening to music and cooking.

We are truly grateful to have Kyla with us here at North Pointe! We are excited to have her expertise, compassion and her commitment to providing exceptional care to our residents. Welcome Kyla!

Please join us in welcoming Dawn to North Pointe! We're so excited to have her join our team. Her compassion and dedication will make a wonderful addition here at North Pointe.

Dawn has worked in long term care for over 20 years as a CNA/TMA. She went back to school later in life and became a RN for over one year now.

She is married and has two rescue cats which they have adopted into their forever family. In Dawn's free time, she enjoys fishing, reading, music and diamond art.
