15 years ago, I lined up for my very first race in Athens — nervous, excited, and completely unaware of how far running would take me. That race ended inside the Olympic Stadium, and I remember thinking how incredible it felt just to finish.
Since then, I’ve run 10 half marathons, 1 full marathon, and more 5Ks and 10Ks than I can count. I’ve also been through 3 knee surgeries, moments where I wondered if I’d ever run again.
Today, I ran in that same stadium — a little older, a little stronger, and deeply grateful for my body’s resilience and its ability to keep showing up.
