Subtle lip volumization is the key to a natural, beautiful outcome. More and more patients are requesting a natural enhancement to build a touch of volume, hydration and facial balancing, which is what I personally love to do. I love to accentuate someone’s natural features rather than change them. Of course, treatment goals are discussed before the procedure as I utilize various injectables based on a patient’s natural anatomy and their treatment goals. Here I used RHA Redensity for a subtle enhancement which will last approximately 6 months. Downtime such as swelling and bruising is less than traditional “fillers” as it is a softer, more flexible product that integrates easily, avoiding aggressive massage which can increase downtime. Further, if needed, fine lines around the mouth (perioral rejuvenation) can be addressed same time for a smoother effect.

Yes cosmetic dermatology is what I practice most but let’s not forget about the importance of annual skjn checks to catch skin cancers before they become a bigger problem. Look for the ABCD(E)s: Assymetry, (Irregular) Borders, Colors, Different (than other spots) and Evolving. 2/3 of melanomas are actually found by the patients themselves and 1/3 by Dermatologist so it is important to do a monthly skin check at home and see your sooner than your annual can check if you notice anything abnormal.

Weight loss medications such as trizepatide and semiglutide have been linked to decreased longevity with neuromodulators and here are some key points:
