1. Ozone Water
• What it is: Water infused with ozone (O₃), a powerful oxidant.
• Main effects:
• Strong antimicrobial — kills bacteria, viruses, parasites in the mouth and digestive tract.
• Often used in dentistry, wound care, and short-term detox support.
• Breaks down quickly back into oxygen.
• Pros: Good for disinfection, oral health, and short-term gut cleansing.
• Cons: Not for long-term, everyday drinking — too much oxidative stress can harm healthy cells. Best used occasionally or therapeutically.
⸻
2. Hydrogen Water
• What it is: Water infused with molecular hydrogen (H₂), a selective antioxidant.
• Main effects:
• Neutralizes harmful free radicals without disrupting useful ones.
• Shown in research to reduce oxidative stress, improve energy, reduce inflammation, support brain and heart health.
• Crosses the blood-brain barrier.
• Pros: Safe for daily use, strong evidence for reducing oxidative damage and inflammation.
• Cons: Effects depend on quality/concentration of H₂ — not all machines or tablets produce enough.
⸻
3. Alkaline Water
• What it is: Water with elevated pH (typically 8–10), either from minerals or electrolysis.
• Main effects:
• Can temporarily buffer acidity in the stomach or blood.
• May improve hydration and acid reflux in some people.
• Pros: Generally safe in moderation, may help those with reflux or very acidic diets.
• Cons: The body tightly regulates blood pH — so long-term “alkalizing” claims are overstated.
Which one is right for you?
There is a time and place for each, it’s important to be armed with information so you can make the best choice for yourself.
As for me…Hydrogen water with low level Ionization is the clear winner here as a daily water source.
Thanks to Energy Wave’s water membership, I have an easy source. 😊

Which is “better”?
• For everyday health: Hydrogen water has the strongest scientific support for ongoing use (antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, safe daily).
• For occasional therapeutic use: Ozone water is best as a short-term cleanse or antimicrobial rinse.
• For mild digestive support: Alkaline water may help with reflux but doesn’t offer deep systemic benefits.
