The cacao used in this ceremony is El Grano de Oro – “The Golden Seed”, grown in the historic cacao region of Mihuatalán, Tabasco, Mexico, and cultivated with deep respect for the Yokot’an Mayan worldview. For more than 11 generations, this cacao has been planted, prayed with, sung to, and harvested in alignment with ancestral traditions.
Cacao is known as a gentle yet powerful heart-opening plant medicine, supporting emotional release, clarity, and connection. With its naturally high theobromine content and low caffeine, cacao increases circulation, enhances presence, and provides grounded, sustained energy—making it a beautiful ally for meditation and sound healing.
