đź’™ Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) Awareness Month
December is recognized as Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) Awareness Month.
At Tree of Life Counseling, we want to help our community understand that SAD is more than just the “winter blues.” It is a form of depression triggered by seasonal changes — often beginning in fall and continuing through winter.
Common symptoms may include:
• Low energy
• Increased sleep
• Changes in appetite
• Difficulty concentrating
• Feeling down or hopeless
If these symptoms sound familiar, you’re not alone. Support and treatment options — including therapy, light therapy, and lifestyle adjustments — can make a meaningful difference.
Tree of Life is here to walk alongside you through every season. 🌿💙
Reach out if you or someone you love may need support.
