Let’s talk about Informed Consent, because at our clinic, it’s a lot more than a signature on an intake form. True informed consent is a collaborative conversation. This is why at the beginning of each session with you, whether it’s your first or 100th, we ask you questions about your body, any upgrades you would like to add, and if there are any areas of the body (like your pecs or glutes) that you would like us to avoid. We prioritize this because the best therapeutic results happen when you feel completely safe and in control of your session. This also includes letting your therapist know at any time if pressure needs to be adjusted, or if anything feels uncomfortable to you. If you have any questions, let’s discuss in the comments. -Tawni
