Weekend Forecast!!! (03/27/26)

Time to execute the master plan!?! This weekend finds you in unusually brisk form, honing your future vision while chipping away at the task before you. Plot twist: The task is NOT what you thought it was! Use your utmost powers of concentration to lock in on what’s most important when the tides are rapidly changing all around you… and within you. Remember to rest and honor your limits, as well!

King of Swords implores you to remember exactly who you are and what you stand for! Confronted with two practical Pentacles cards, this cerebral King comes face-to-face with the demands of the real world, and is forced to reality-test his most cherished theories… while leaning on them with all his might.

If your ideals come up against opposition this weekend, let it be a bold and honest reckoning. Wear your mind on your sleeve, and let your backbone be as steely as a sword. If you find yourself proven wrong on any account, acknowledge it and own it quickly and thoroughly. If, however, you find that you have been right all along, this may be the time when many gateways of opportunity open as karmic reward. Follow the momentum and proceed swiftly!

3 of Pentacles Rx throws a curveball into the game… or maybe a juggle-fest of multiple curveballs!! Perhaps you are in the midst of a drastic change in trajectory, which may or may not have been foreseeable. Even if you’re not yet taking action, it’s likely you’re having second thoughts about your job, career, living situation, social placement, or general life path. Then again, it’s possible they’re having second thoughts about you, leaving you feeling uncertain, topsy-turvy, and not entirely secure.

As the pivot point between two “character cards”, this scene implores us not to get too far into our heads, lest we topple. It’s easy to get swept along by ideology, and believe that we know exactly what we’re talking about - until we have to do it consistently. If you’re reeling from disillusionment and don’t know what to do next, just do the next right thing. Take small, simple steps, staying present with the process. When in doubt, pause, center, and decide on a proactive trajectory before proceeding.

Finally, the reversal of this card, which visually places the person himself above his all-important pentacles (tasks, roles, demands of life, treasures, resources, professional connections, streams of income, etc.), reminds us that it is imperative NOT to define ourselves by these things, and indeed, to nurture our bodies and beings before attempting to spread ourselves too thin over a bunch of commitments. Your body (or soul) may beg you to take a break this week. Listen to it. Less is more. If it’s important, it’ll be there later.

Knight of Pentacles reminds you that the journey is the destination, so let your process be your goal. This card hails that most underrated power move: showing up, consistently, and doing the thing, consistently. While this stoic Knight is sometimes associated with repetitious drudgery, there is a keen and eager tone to this version which makes him appear genuinely fascinated by his work. The pentacle in his hand glows irresistibly and seems to pull him to the right, into the future. What are you being called to do, no matter how basic or humble, that lights you up inside? Do it!!!

Ultimately, this weekend should prove exceedingly productive and clarifying, although you may have to sort out some confusion and heavy energy as part of the process. The gates are open for greater alignment between the physical and mental bodies; if this opportunity is seized, a great surge in vitality will follow. Treat any obstacles you encounter with the utmost sincerity, recognizing them as your teachers and friends.

Shamanic Journey Circle: New Growth

Spring has sprung, and it’s a doozy! Aries season combines with the Fire Horse 1 year to make this a period of explosive growth unlike any we’ve seen in a long time.

In our frenetic postmodern culture, growth is encouraged and rewarded - as long as it’s along productive, profitable and reasonably conventional lines. But how do we really WANT to grow this season? Do we want to buckle down and become high-earning high achievers? Or is it better to aim our trajectories into personal development, boundary-pushing feats of artistry, destroying corrupt institutions, or something else entirely? In this journey circle, we’ll feel out the expansive energies available to us, and ride the wave in a most auspicious direction.

Please note: This is a sober event, open to all skill and experience levels. Please bring a pen and notebook to record your journeys, as well as any crystals, pillows, blankets, or other comfort items which will make your journey complete. Yoga mats will be provided.

Weekend Forecast!!! (03/20/26)

Time to shine… but not dazzle! This weekend is an exercise in lane-switching, as circumstance may demand that you rotate in and out of the spotlight. Let your outsides be tough and your insides be tender, playing the game when necessary, retreating to conserve energy when able. Optimistic realizations may dawn, but keep them close to your chest, and do your homework carefully before making any bold moves. Much progress can be made at this time, especially by those who stay conscious and remember themselves from moment to moment.

7 of Wands invites you to the forefront of the foray! You are stepping out of your comfort zone, in a very visible way. You may be called to stand up for your beliefs, or find yourself in a heated confrontation around your most cherished values. Though many voices may crowd your mind (or loudly oppose you in argument), it is imperative that you know your bottom line and stick to it. You are feeling more sure of yourself lately, so put that confidence to good use!

The Sun Rx reminds you that good things can grow in secret… and even in the presence of doubt. Perhaps you’re feeling fragmented, caught between almost manic levels of enthusiasm and assurance, and periods of crippling demoralization. Get in your feelings!! The only way out is through this weekend, as even your most strenuous exertions of willpower leave your aims unsatisfied. Fortunately, the path of patient contemplation and quiet acceptance provides solace and understanding. Being real with yourself, and sitting with uncomfortable truths, will lead to a happy ending.

King of Wands Rx spells frustration for those who insist on overshooting the mark. You’ve got inspiration for days - years, even - but your energy may be easily exhausted at this time. Don’t force it! Take time to recalibrate, consolidate your timeline, and take stock of your spiritual life. While this fiery King can be a major mover and shaker in his heyday, here he finds himself outnumbered and drowned out by the intense emotional energies of two water cards. Go with the flow, but don’t abandon your mission completely. Choosing your moments of action precisely and sparingly will have a more pronounced impact than going hard.
