❤️This morning we woke up to a fog outside which added to the heaviness, then the sun does what it does and slowly came out more and more until the fog was lifted
🤍This Patriots Day let’s remember those impacted by the day and those that continue to be impacted by the day , emotionally, physically. Those that came together to help and are still dealing with the physical and emotional toll from 9/11…whether it be morning a loved one, getting another medical appointment update on the cancer or cardiovascular diseases from the crumbling environment, being triggered by certain smell connected back to that day, the underlying fear of sending your kids off to school today, however this day shaped you

✨Yos is a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern working out of our WPB office and virtually through out the state of Florida! She also speaks English and Spanish!

✨ I support children (9+), teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief/loss, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress etc. Together, we’ll work toward a life that feels more grounded, resilient, and empowered in your day-to-day

✨I take a modern, relatable approach, drawing from Psychodynamic Therapy (PDT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), so our work always feels tailored, practical, and relevant to your life

✨Erin was honored to be able to speak on EMDR Therapy at the first of its kind event hosted by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue and Professional Firefighters/Paramedics of Palm Beach County, Local 2928, IAFF
✨“Ready and Resilient” training on firefighter mental fitness welcomed crews from across Palm Beach County
✨Extra special for Erin to present alongside her fellow LCSWs Josie Rhoads and Keith Shampaner
✨Together we covered resilience through Polyvagal Theory, the OODA loop, and EMDR therapy
✨PBCFR said it best with “the large turnout underscored the importance of supporting mental health in the fire service. Learning the tools to reset, regulate, and refocus makes a real difference both on the fireground and at home. The workshop focused on building resilience and mental fitness for our first responders”!

So fortunate to be a part of something so wonderful, thank you Palm Beach County Fire Rescue !
