Sleep struggles, flat spots, endless fussinessโhereโs how this family found answers for their 6-week-old. ๐ฅณ
Mom said, โOur 6-week-old had neck tension, which resulted in him favoring his head to one side. He had started developing a flat spot on his head, and his startle reflex was waking him up nearly every time it happened, resulting in an overtired and fussy baby. Our holistic pediatrician recommended chiropractic care, specifically neurologically-focused!
We swaddled for every nap and bedtime for the sake of getting good rest, but we knew that was just a band-aid for the startle reflex issues.
So when we saw his neurological scans, it all made sense!
After his very first adjustment, he slept from 8 pm-4 am! After the first three, we noticed him moving his head more frequently while sleeping, which was so cool (and relieving) to see! He started rolling over from belly to back and back to belly all day long. He seemed way less tense and stronger during tummy time.
Now, our pediatrician & our PX Docs are happy with how his flat spot is looking, and he is sleeping through the night at 5 months. Overall, there has been far less fussiness, over tiredness, and his feeding has even improved.โ โค๏ธ
