This morning, the North Platte Fire Department came to do the 9/11 Stair Climb in remembrance of the Attack on the World Trade Center. Thank you boys and for what you do!

It is that time of year again, where we remember the brave souls who gave their lives to help others. The 9/11 Stair Climb Challenge will be September 9th, 10th and 11th. Come and support the North Platte Fire Department and local departments as they make the climbs the next 3 days. This challenge is also open to the public and can be attempted by anyone. The challenge is to climb 110 flights of stairs on the step master machine. There will be names of fallen hero's on the wall next to the challenge area. We encourage you to pick a name out of the 343 listed and make the climb in their honor. This is a special event and we would love to see you all participate. There will be more info to follow. We will all make this climb to show that we have Never Forgotten the brave souls who gave their lives that day and we never will.

Hey Anytime Fitness Family! On September 10th, The American Red Cross is hosting the 16th Annual Blood Drive for Battle of the Badges! The time to donate is 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM. This is very important event and there are many people out there that can benefit from your donation! The blood drive is located at Venue 304 (306 E 5th Street, North Platte, NE 69101).

Download the American Red Cross Blood Donor App. and schedule a appointment.

Those who donate will get a T-shirt and a meal at the event!

And vote for the team you want to win, which is the Firefighters.... choose the firefighters. Hope to see you all there!
