Starting October 1, 2025, you may notice changes in the foods included with your WIC benefits.

Here's what to expect:
🥖 More whole grains for adults
🐟 Canned/pouched fish for children and adults
🍎 More fruits & veggies for infants
🥛 New substitution options for milk, eggs, & juice

Your benefits may look a little different — some foods may increase or decrease.

New WIC Eligibility Guidelines take effect today! 🍎🍞🧀🥚

Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is a nutrition program that provides nutrition and health education, healthy food, and other services to families who qualify.
Dads, Grandparents, and guardians can also qualify if they are raising a child under 5 years old! The eligibility is based on household income.
WIC’s goal is to help keep pregnant and breastfeeding women, new moms, and kids under age 5 healthy by providing:
▪ Personalized nutrition information and support
▪ Funding to buy healthy food
▪ Tips for eating well to improve health
▪ Referrals for services that can benefit the whole family
WIC also offers immunization screening and referral, breastfeeding support, and nutrition. We encourage you to take advantage of all that WIC offers.
