One of the most powerful images I have seen.

I have a confession to make. I share this photo twice a year and whenever I post it I read all these posts about this poor Mother and child. It always leaves me speechless because all people see is horror.

Let me tell you what I see. I see POWER! This Woman is dehydrated, malnourished and I'm assuming she stressed, but she is still breastfeeding. Do you see how we have been fed a ton of bu****it about DIET? You have to eat healthy foods or your breast milk will dry up, you have to stay hydrated or your breast milk will dry up, you have to avoid stress or your breast milk will dry up.

This photo kills all the lies Mothers are fed about breastfeeding. This image is so POWERFUL and speaks so loudly. We have to fight or at the very least ignore anyone that tells us that we are anything less than extraordinary. Our bodies will take care of the children it allowed us to have, even when we aren't or can't take care of ourselves.
