🇺🇸 North Port Acupuncture is now part of the Veterans Affairs Community Care Network (VACCN).
The VA recognizes acupuncture as a Complementary & Integrative Health (CIH) therapy that supports veterans with pain (including Battlefield Acupuncture), PTSD, sleep issues, and other chronic conditions, without relying on medication.
Acupuncture works by helping the body release endorphins, improving blood flow, and calming the brain’s pain centers to support natural healing.
How Acupuncture Supports Veterans:
• Effective for chronic pain, including quick-acting Battlefield Acupuncture (BFA)
• Can help reduce PTSD symptoms, anxiety, and nightmares
• Supports better sleep, energy, and overall well-being
Veterans may receive acupuncture services when approved by their VA care team. Contact your VA care team, as well as Dr. Erica Nabers with North Port Acupuncture for more information.
