A little behind AKP. Andrew, Kyle and myself all work in a nursing center in all different departments. We had to outsource many of our rides to other providers to transport the residents to their doctors appointments. Unfortunately this meant our residents and CNAs were going out with other drivers. Sometimes the residents appointments were missed due to no ride showing up, arriving too late, or on the other end being left at appointments. Andrew wanted better quality care for our residents getting to appointments on time, safely and with a smile on the drivers face. Andrew teamed up with Kyle to make this come to life. Kyle and Andrew worked fiercely to get safe and reliable equipped vehicles for AKP. We officially started operating in November 2022 privately. Before we knew it we had our contract with MTM (Medicaid transportation service in Rhode Island) in December. We have been averaging 30+ trips a day from nursing homes, community and clinics around the state. We do transport primarily to doctors appointments but not limited to just that, we transport for any reason you may find necessary. We look forward. to servicing you and your family soon. Welcome to AKP Transportation LLC new page! We have been active within the community for a few months now. A little introduction about us. Our team is made up of us who own, operate and drive: Kyle, Brittany, and Andrew. We are fortunate enough to be consistently busy, we recently added a new driver to our team, Kevin. We provide transportation within the state of Rhode Island for nursing facilities and community members. We are a provider for MTM and also operate privately. Over the next few days we will post more details about AKP, what we are, how you can book our company for your transportation needs and so much more!
